Responsibilities include:
Full cycle recruitment and onboarding, anticipating staffing needs and addressing them through strategic sourcing plans, job postings, screening and candidate interviews.
Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies for open positions, create interview schedules and coordinate with hiring managers, and track and coordinate applicant screening and assessments. Handle all facets of onboarding, background screening requirements, new hire orientation and a host of other HR responsibilities.
Additional areas of support could include electronic and paper records management, HRIS, employee events, employee rewards and recognition programs, worker's compensation and employee benefits.
Requirements:
3 plus years' experience in a human resources department as a multi-functional human resources assistant, representative and recruiter.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, sociology, psychology, business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems and Teams/Zoom
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to read, write, interpret and explain simple to complex information.
Ability to use good judgment and demonstrate discretion in the handling of confidential and or sensitive information
Proven ability to deal positively with a wide range of people and personalities and handle tense situations in a diplomatic fashion
Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations.
